Avalose Powder
In a village nestled amidst the lush greenery of Kerala, there lived a mother. She was known throughout the village for her culinary prowess and, in particular, her skill in preparing Avalose Powder—a dish that held a special place in the hearts of the community.
The mother had inherited the treasured recipe from her grandmother, who, in turn, had received it from generations past. It was not merely a dish for her; it was a legacy, a connection to her roots, and a testament to the enduring traditions of her ancestors. Now she wants you to have it, here is the recipe:
Ingredients
Palthondi broken rice - 1 cup
Grated coconut -1 cup
Jaggery powder - 3/4 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Ghee - 1 teaspoon
Crushed almonds & cashew nuts - 1 tablespoon

• Heat 1 teaspoon ghee. Add crushed cashew nuts and almonds. Saute for a minute and keep it aside.
• Take 1 cup of grated coconut and 3/4 cup of jaggery powder and blend it well in mixer grinder.
• Finally powder the roasted rice. Transfer all the ingredients to a bowl. Add 1/2 a tsp of cardamom powder and give a nice mix of all the ingredients using your clean hand.
